Ibis Styles Brugge Centrum (couple trip)

Stayed 2 nights. Breakfast was served in the Novotel opposite. Room was small but adequate. I didn't like the dark decor. It made it appear tired. The bathroom sink was far too small with the tap over it blocking its use. It was impossible to use without spilling water everywhere. Same was true of the walk in shower where water just saturated the bathroom floor. No parking for motorcycles!

great, quiet location, in close walking distance to all attractions. currently, undergoing some refurbishments at entrance/check-in (little nuisance). Room floor might be "stylish" but hard to be maintained clean...

Rating: 6.8/10 Summary: Rooms DIDN'T actually have mold and we're nice and clean. Breakfast was at the Novotel across the sidewalk and pretty good. The paper thin doors and poor sound proofing.... was accurate. The good: 👍 Breakfast was hot with eggs and bacon. Lots of good options to eat 👍 Front desk staff was again massively helpful, especially when the payment machine ate my parking ticket....

Price/quality overall pretty good. Breakfast was satisfactory. The rooms were clean with comfortable beds and cold airconditioning. Minor complaints: small rooms and the two single beds were a bit narrow. Overall Brugge is a great city, and this hotel is a good affordable place to rest near the city centre.

Rooms have paper doors. Can hear every word muttered in the corridor. Forget sleep if you got neighbors coming back late at night. Shower and wash basin are ridiculously leaky. Wash basin so small you cant fit to wash your face. Shower leaks water everywhere, literally spraying it to the sides. After taking a shower you'll have to use up the towers to wash around, so as not to flood the bathroom. ...
