Hotel Ter Brughe by CW Hotel Collection (couple trip)

Friendly and polite staff and great location. The building and rooms are beautiful. However to me it’s not 4star hotels. Definitely, They need to work on noise level in the rooms (you can hear any whispering basically) and detailed cleaning specially bathroom. Also it’s clear the hotel needs some renovations.

The hotel is in a nice location. Walking distance to the center of the town and the main attractions. Our room was on the first floor. We had a small TV and AC in the room. The bathroom was spacious, but the toilet is very close to the bathtub, there was no barrier separating them which was a bit odd. Beautiful hotel of 47 rooms. We had the basement suite with large window opening out onto the canal. The ambience and the views are amazing. The only better thing is the service. Hostess Ella went out of her way in typical Belgian fashion to welcome us, book taxis and tours and make two seniors feel at home.

Great location and lovely hotel. Nice bar service and private garden / terrace. Only couple of issues were lack of a shower (there was a bathtub only with no curtain which made showering very difficult) and lack of a secure room where to leave the luggage (both when we arrive and left the luggage room was full so we had to leave it in the main room).

My family and I spent two weeks in Belgium and this was by far our favorite hotel! The walk to the market square is about 10 minutes. I looked foward to my morning stroll along the canal.
