Small room with the smallest bathroom I've ever seen. We couldn't wash our face/teeth properly because there was a glass shelf right above the very tiny sink, blocking from leaning over it. Also, a horrible "rusty" white basket held soaps, shower cups, etc Please, change it ... No air conditioning, no closet, just hangers to hang on the walls. A decent choice for a short stay but for a longer one I would probably look for something better. The rooms are quite small but they have lots and lots of space to keep your stuff in different cupboards, shelves, etc. However, they are modestly equipped (no fridge, kettle, etc). We stayed 3 nights at Jacobs hotel and wouldn't stay again. They provide the very basic not good enough amenities to match the price of the room. First of all the room didn't have a fridge so we had to throw out all of our snacks and food and we couldn't even have cold water to drink. We spent 5 wonderful days at Hotel Jacobs on Baliestraat in Brugge, Belgium. The room, though small, was very cozy and had a beautiful view of the historic city. Despite the chilly November nights, the heating system worked excellently, and the room was warm and comfortable. I’ve stayed here twice now and both times I had no complaints. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. They have a secure room where you can leave your luggage if you arrive before check in. The room was clean and comfortable and the location is perfect.
