Hotel Bourgoensch Hof (couple trip)

Stayed buget room, but it was clean and housekeeping did a fantastic job, enough room for us +4 cases( only wish was for 2 luggage racks). Payed for canel room as special occasion but couldn't see the canal so disappointed. Location fantastic so close to everything

The location is excellent, right in the heart of Bruges, and the staff were friendly and helpful. Unfortunately, the overall experience was let down by the cleanliness, which wasn’t up to standard. - I expect my bins emptied daily which they weren’t nor was the bed made everyday. Bourgoensch Hof is in a fantastic central location in Brugge, very close to historical sites and canals. The hotel is in an old building, so you have to overlook some shortcomings. Don’t expect too much from the structure itself. In our room, the toilet and bathroom were separate, but there was no sink in the toilet, which was a bit inconvenient. Please do yourself a favour and book a CORNER room ( 2 canal views). Possibly the best view of the canals in Brugge. We were on the 3rd floor corner room - just so great to sit & watch the world float by. The staff were pleasant, the downstairs bar was very atmospheric. We didn’t have breakfast there so can’t comment. If we returned to Brugge we would definitely stay there again.
