Good area to watch the birds, with a nice café with 'eco' options to drink. Only the large amount of asphalt roads in the vicinity is a shame.

When is the best time to visit Uitkerkse Polder (Bruges, Belgium)?

In spring, watch nesting lapwings on the Kievitspad. In autumn, wear waterproofs as paths get muddy. Summer offers long daylight but limited shade—bring sun protection.
