89%Baby-Friendly

What makes it 89% Baby-Friendly: Babies benefit from a warm shallow pool, cots and high chairs in every cottage, bottle warmers and microwaves in dining areas, and stroller-accessible paths. The lack of a separate nursing lounge is the only notable gap.

Positives:

  • Inclusive baby gear: Most cottages include a cot and high chair at no extra cost.
  • Covered activities: Indoor pool and play areas keep the family busy if it rains.

Challenges:

  • Unpaved paths: Forest trails and beach edges can be muddy after rain, complicating stroller use.
  • Coastal winds: Strong sea breezes can chill babies quickly, so layer up for beach walks.

Unfortunately many of the poor reviews here are correct. If you’ve visited a UK Center Parcs, expect 50% the price for 10% the charm and facilities. In short, not worth it. We were kept up until 3am on the first night due to loud music and partying. The second night they held another event on site at the Business Center with music, noise and lots of drinking. When I spoke to a member of staff abo...

We had a long weekend stay here over the August bank Holiday and we had a lovely time, but 4 days is all you need at this park as its not as big as some of the others. The park is really geared up for younger children, it has a great soft play and the pool is good with 3 tubes, 2 differnt rapids and a wave machine / waterfalls in the main pool. The park was clean and there is enough add on activit...

Are a little tired, flooring slightly raising, paintwork on stairs coming off. Could do with a microwave and instructions on how to use the oven. Lastly the sofa is not comfy or ideal for children as cushions (including the children at some point) keep falling off. Even though we were in zone 5, it didn’t take long to walk into the centre which was great. Activities were in abundance and staff exc...

We loved the pool and the amazing playgrounds and the proximity to the beach. The house was clean and cozy with a lovely garden although one of the showers was blocked. The only negative was the children's farm, we felt that the animals were harassed and did not have appropriate breaks. We witnessed no supervision from staff. Sometimes the donkeys and goats were running away, trying to hide but pe...

Park de Haan had so much to keep our 4 year old entertained. It's also located in a beautiful area close to pretty beach side towns. The beaches provide a lot of entertainment for children so with the park and the local area, we found loads to do. We booked a comfort cottage which was reasonably priced (we visited out of season / outside school holidays which brought the cost right down). The cott...
