What makes it 70% Kids-Friendly: Kids enter free, get an audio guide, and follow a scavenger hunt, but brewing machinery, stair access, and an alcohol-focused setting mean parents must supervise closely and limit stay length.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Enough time for the guided tour, treasure hunt, bottle personalization, and a snack break.
Guided Brewery & Distillery Tour:
Meet the brewer, see live brewing, and sample one beer each for adults.
Tip: Book your tour in advance and choose an English audio guide.
Mole Treasure Hunt:
Kids search for hidden mole figures around the brewery floor.
Tip: Pick up the hunt sheet at reception and swap it for a small surprise gift.
Bottle Personalization:
Add your family photo to a bottle as a keepsake.
Tip: Bring a small printed photo or choose one on site.
Canal-Side Terrace Snack:
Relax by the water with pretzels and soft drinks in the café.
Tip: Order child-friendly snacks like giant pretzels and claim a free outdoor seat.

Best brewery in whole Belgium. Not everybody knows, but you can go through the main area and sit outside near the canal. Fantastic wine and amazing beer

The Bourgogne des Flandres beer is simply delicious, fruity and easy to drink. The tour starts at The Bourgogne des Flandres shop and then it moves to the brewery itself. Recommend the beer flight to beer tasting after the tour.

Did the tour and had tasting after. It was nice little bit of fun - done loads of these before. Enjoyed it for what it was small and little quirky. Tasting after was good, also enjoyed pretzel and sausage. Was not 100 % sure on their whisky but it was only 3rd batch

We love this place, second visit over the weekend after visiting originally in 2023. The beers are all excellent (I tried the flight), nice selection of snacks to pick at while you drink (meatballs recommended). Lovely spot outside by the water to watch the world go by as well! Will be back

This was one of our favorite stops on our trip to Belgium, there is a patio that sits right next to the water and you can sit out there and drink great beer and watch the boats go by. We had a couple different kinds of beer and a giant pretzel with some super spicy Mustard. It’s a really cool place and it’s super relaxing. The people working there were great and the service was fast. If you are in...
In summer, sit outside on the terrace by the canal. In winter, the indoor café stays cozy but can fill up quickly on weekends.
