Tulip Inn Antwerpen (couple trip)

Staff was friendly, free parking in front of hotel if is available at that moment. Location is out of LEZ (less emission zone), in that situation was perfectly for me. Rooms are so basic.

I honestly regret choosing this hotel. The room was dirty, the staff were unfriendly, and the service was far below any reasonable standard. The photos online are very misleading — what you get in reality is completely different. I’ve stayed in many places across Belgium, but this was by far the worst experience. Definitely not recommended.

I stayed at Tulip Inn Antwerpen from 24–26 September and was thoroughly disappointed. The room was far below acceptable standards: stained duvets, dirty curtains, and even visible cobwebs in corners. I stayed here for a tennis tournament and really enjoyed the convenience. The location is great—only 4–5 km from the city center, and just about 1 km from the train station with easy access to both Brussels Airport and the city. We rented a scooter to get around, which was so much fun. The room was clean and comfortable, and breakfast was decent. Overall, a very good stay.

We had to stay here as a part of group booking. There was no family room available so we had to be split into two double rooms. Our room smelled awful. I complained & apparently the cleaning lady was aware of it. She said when it rains this smell comes up from down somewhere & there is nothing she can do about it.
