Really lovely hotel with an amazing breakfast, location, decor, shower and toiletries!! We really enjoyed our stay here. The hotel is pretty much close to everything in old town Antwerp the highlight of the day was the breakfast at the Michelin star restaurant. I would not recommend this hotel. It is highly surprising to me that they are featured in the Michelin guide when the most basic things are missing. Yes, the lobby is really grand and artsy, but the room felt like it belonged somewhere else. It is very worn down, both in the hallway and inside the room. I don’t understand how this hotel got 4* and such a high rating. Rooms are very dated with bad noise isolation, damaged and dusty furniture, walls and floors, holes in towels, dirty flip-flops, and a lack of toilet paper and soap, which hasn’t been refilled for two days now. It was a fantastic stay in Antwerp at Hotel FRANQ. The centrally located hotel has two excellent restaurants and lovely staff. We felt very comfortable and were particularly grateful that the hotel actively supports diversity and civic engagement.
