Crowne Plaza Antwerp (couple trip)

Good hotel but terrible staff at breakfast The hotel is good but at brakfast I had the most rufe receptionist ever ! Before checking out I wanted to have breakfast. I had a carry on suitcase on wheels with my Laptop bag on top. The breakfast room was at 20% capacity at that time. I was told in a very rude tone that I could not enter with my suitcase when I asked why I was told there was no space. ...

The hotel itself is nice, but the restaurant/bar service was very disappointing. As a group of four, we had to arrange our own tables and chairs, and the waitress was unfriendly throughout. At the end, we were told they were closing in a very dry and unpleasant way, which made us feel unwelcome. Definitely not the level of service you would expect in such a place.

The pool and spa area is compact, but fine for a short stay. Staff friendly and helpful. Atmosphere and decor of the hotel is chilled, smart and stylish. Rooms nice, got all the things you expect, clean and look good.

The downsides of this hotel: The rooms are supposed to have AC, but really don't. Even though it wasnt bad outside (and we kept the shades closed), it was too hot in the room. They kept the lobby air conditioned though. We were never offered fans, but our friends asked for one and they were told the hotel was out of them. I had an incredible stay at this hotel! The room was exceptional, clean, and spacious. The service was top-notch, and I felt incredibly well taken care of throughout my stay.
