Arass Hôtel & Business Flats (solo trip)

Dark room, very cold in the bathroom, no heater, towels after first use were wet during whole stay. They were also old, worn out. The bed was okay, do not expect double, its twin with single beds getting apart. Conveniently located at a 10 minute drive away from the Antwerp railway station. There is a super market right across the road, where you can stock up on supplies. There is a medical store as well across the road. You can take bus number 21, from the station if you do not feel like a walk, and it will drop you right at Arass. I had a bad experience at this hotel. It’s right on a busy main road, so there was constant noise from cars and sirens all night. I booked a double bed but was given a twin room, and the receptionist said there were no doubles available. I was highly disappointed with the service. Check in formalities weren't clear enough and also there was lack of communication from the hotel. Room cleaning service was unable or didn't do their job. Rooms were big but lacked ventilation and it felt suffocating. Especially in the washroom and the bathroom. The rooms were amazing and huge. They were clean, and windows provided good ventilation. They also had an air conditioning system to provide cool air in summer and got air in all other seasons. It was a bit expensive but worth the rooms and it's locality.
