a&o Antwerpen Centraal (couple trip)

My favourite place to stay in Antwerp. Next to railway station very convenient. Comfortable bed and good shower. Excellent breakfast. Local transport links very good. Always buy bus/tram 3 day ticket.

The worst hostel I have ever stayed in. It fails to meet even the most basic service standards. On the day of check-in, we were placed in an uncleaned room, and then we were told we had to wait until it was cleaned. Very bad hotel Our room was renovated two weeks ago, however we still found a bed bug the second day. The staff handled the situation really bad. They screamed at us and were really rude. There are ants in both the bathroom and beside the bed, and the staff did not care about this at all. I stayed in the female only dorm and found it to be quite dirty upon my arrival. There’s also no lockers in the room itself so definitely bring luggage locks or use the lockers in the lobby while you are away although it’s a bit inconvenient if you have lots of luggage.
