What makes it 71% Kids-Friendly: Kids up to 12 can climb the play-hill, cycle, kick balls on marked courts, and sample child rides at Sinksenfoor, but grounds lack fencing and crowds surge at events, so close adult watch is needed.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Gives time to explore playgrounds, sports courts and picnic areas without tiring kids.
Speelheuvel & playground:
Kids climb the grass-covered hill and explore wooden play structures.
Tip: Bring sturdy shoes and a change of clothes for messy play.
Family sports courts:
Shoot basketball, kick a football or serve volleyball on marked courts.
Tip: Bring your own ball to avoid sharing rentals.
Picnic under Scheldekaaihangar:
Set up on wooden benches or picnic tables in the shaded hangar.
Tip: Pack a blanket and snacks from nearby shops.
Bar Oost summer treats:
Grab ice-cream, fries or waffles from the converted train wagon terrace.
Tip: Best after 1pm when the terrace gets full sun.
Sinksenfoor fair:
Let kids roam free among rides and games running May to July.
Tip: Buy ride tickets at multi-ride booths to save a few euros.

My son loves the rides here and there is no much waiting time for rides but the cost is getting higher every year. Nice way to spend 2-3 hours. And the churros and fries are good too.

Great place to walk around and enjoy the amazing amount of amusement. Also nice food stalls, I recommend trying smoutebollen, lacmands. The downside is that it is very expensive 🫰 But all in all it's fun to do.
