What makes it 52% Baby-Friendly: Stroller paths and quiet lawns help with naps, yet interior stairs, narrow doors and no listed changing tables require a baby carrier and contacting the site before coming.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Time enough to stroll the park, take photos and rest at the Koetshuis without rushing with a baby.
Stroller-friendly park walk:
Wide gravel paths under old trees guide you around the moat.
Tip: Go early for soft light and a quieter park when the baby is fresh.
Quiet picnic near the orangery:
Shaded lawns close to the coach house offer calm picnic spots.
Tip: Bring a blanket and easy-to-eat snacks to feed the baby on the grass.
Photo stop by the hanging bridge:
The 1905 cast-iron bridge over the moat is perfect for family photos.
Tip: Use the natural shade to keep the baby comfortable and avoid glare.
Koetshuis Cortewalle break:
Indoor seating, drinks and light meals in the 18th-century coach house.
Tip: Call ahead to confirm baby-changing facilities and high chairs.

What a stunning castle 🏰 and park! I just couldn't stop taking pictures from every angle. I was here on a lovely sunny summer day and all the flowers blossomed made the walk perfect. The castle is immaculately kept, white like the two iron bridges, the water around it has a fountain and two sculptures of ladies in it too. It's really picturesque and fairytale-like.
From May to September, join free guided tours on the 1st and 3rd Sundays at 3 pm. In winter, dress warmly and bring rain gear—paths can be muddy after rain.
