Ibis Wien Hauptbahnhof (couple trip)

I travel quite often and usually don’t leave reviews for hotels… only for restaurants. But this time I have to give five stars to this hotel. While it’s a standard Ibis with the usual rooms, the staff is exceptionally kind and helpful. My five-star rating is really for the staff, the convenient location, and the nice view from my high-floor room.

Nice clean hotel located very close to the train station. Rooms have just the basics you need. It was quiet considering how close it is to the station. The air conditioning was not good. Even though I turned it up to high, it was not cool enough. The breakfast buffet was pretty basic and as boring as it could be. It would be difficult to find a place to sit for breakfast because the tables weren't...

Good hotel. Location is perfect, closer to Uban, S, bus and tramway 5 min by walk. Our room was clean. Good service. On checking desk personal can speak not only germany. Was nice to hear native language from yang guy. We didn't want to wait room with separate beds and we got in one moment room with one big. So service is👌

I was able to check in early at 11 AM even though it usually starts at 3 PM, which was a nice surprise. The breakfast was decent, and the location is super convenient — right next to the train station. On the downside, the room could have been cleaner (I noticed some trash on the floor and stains on the bed linen), and the breakfast could use a wider selection of pastries and sweets.

Lovely, stylish hotel with an excellent location as the main station is literally 3 minutes walk away. The rooms are not especially big, but they are comfortable, tidy, very practical, amenities include TV and hairdryer, WiFi is superb as well. The lobby features water fountain, as well as free coffee and tea. Highly recommended!
