a&o Wien Hauptbahnhof (couple trip)

Good hostel for the price. Very family friendly. Some staff were amazing, really helpful. Others quite rude. Somehow managed to separate my friend and I into different rooms and were unable to amend. Even though there were empty/unused beds in both of our rooms.

Service said I dropped something and wanted me to charge for it, while I didn’t. Our room was infested by bedbugs, the windows don’t open much, there was trash from the last visitors still on the floor and behind spaces, all the food tastes a little bit bitter and the walls are made of paper, so you won’t get a good nights sleep. Good location, and some good service men.

The worst Hotel I’ve ever stayed. This place is an absolute nightmare and should not be allowed to operate as a hotel or hostel. The soundproofing is a complete joke — it felt like I was trying to sleep in the middle of a chaotic street market, with people yelling in the hallways all night long. The bathroom was disgusting and completely unusable due to a blocked drain, and the staff couldn’t care...

It's a hostel after all. But it's a good quality hostel. Provided clean bedding. The lobby had big open spaces to sit and relax as well as a coffee machine and (free hot water) which I felt was an extra kindness to travellers. In general really a pleasant night stay

I had a really good experience at the A&O Hostel near Vienna Central Station. The location is super convenient – just a short walk from the main train station and with easy access to the city center and public transport. The rooms were clean, modern, and well-maintained.
