I highly recommend to buy tickets in advance. However, if the will to listen to the opera arrives suddenly, there is always possibility to buy tickets for standing places. Be ready to pay 13-18 euros for it. I watched Faust here, and the performance was a great mix of classic and modernity. That's why it got 3 stars instead of one.
