The main rooms at the Sisi museum are very interesting. However it felt very closed in and too dark in the corridor parts to enjoy the exhibition. We had two groups one in front and one behind and felt all the time pressure to move on. So really did not enjoy the tour and did not feel the tour was worth it.

My 10 year old child also enjoyed it a lot and called it their “favorite museum”. If a 10 year can enjoy, so can an adults. I would recommend buying the combination tickets which makes it easy to get i...

This place is a must visit for everyone planning on heading to Vienna! It was a bit smaller than I expected but still worth a visit. I loved all the exhibitions and how beautifully they were set up. The Sisi Museum is definitely one of the most historical and aesthetic places to see in the city.

We didn’t go inside after reading mixed reviews, but the building from the outside is absolutely stunning. It’s part of the Hofburg Palace complex, with grand architecture, domes, and arches. The museum sits on a lovely square, surrounded by impressive buildings, shops, and cafés, so it’s a great place to stroll around and soak up the atmosphere.

When is the best time to visit Sisi Museum (Vienna, Austria)?

In summer, visit early to beat midday crowds. In December, combine your trip with the Hofburg Christmas Village just outside.
