A must see in Vienna. Even though we had bad weather the view was very good. Lots of tourists. The history of Poland tells about this place. You have to be there!

Very nice view, however the peak itself hasn't got any - maybe through the tower, but it is closed during the week. For the view you have to go to the Kahlenberg restaurant nearby - can't miss it.

Pretty hill just 30min from the center of Vienna by streetcar or bus. Perfect for escaping the city and enjoying nature. So popular that it's unfortunately hard to find a quiet spot! Especially as large infrastructures have been installed at the top to bring as many people as possible by bus, which interferes with walkers who have climbed the hill on foot.

I went here on my last day. I almost didn’t go as it was the last thing on my agenda but I’m so glad I did! You take the 38A bus up - best bus journey of my life. It is the last stop and you are very much there. Great views from the top overlooking Vienna. Definitely bring a jacket / wrap up. I ordered a coffee at the local shop there and stayed to watch the sunset.

Amazing hike to the top with lots of vineyards around, the view is breathtaking and the wine is excellent! Def recommend to go there for the sunset but take a jacket because it gets quite cold during the night!
In summer, bring sunscreen and hats; trails can be slippery in spring and autumn—wear sturdy shoes.
