A wonderful museum. The beautiful and sophisticated upper floor is simply captivating. The Art Nouveau Gothic exhibition was also wonderful – a superb selection, intelligently arranged exhibits, original ideas and allusions. A pleasant way to spend a Sunday afternoon.

I visited as part of a DIY Before Sunrise film locations tour. Since it was Sunday around noon, it was quite crowded, so we had to get a bit strategic to take nice photos. Despite that, the experience was still great—the views of the surrounding buildings are absolutely lovely. I’ll update my review once I get the chance to visit the museum.

We went to the main museum and really enjoyed a superbly curated display of primarily 19th and 20th century art. The galleries are airy and never felt crowded. Recommended.
