The people at the reception were friendly. The location was easy to navigate through the city. The breakfast was okey. However, my room experience was unpleasant. As far as, I looked at the photos at Google and Booking, I couldnt see the photo of the room. At one corner of the room, there were shower cabin and sink. Nice little hotel not far from the main station. It preserved the look of an older mansion house, yet with a modern, updated bathroom. Friendly, very helpful English speaking staff. Clean, comfortable rooms. Good variety of breakfast food. The only thing I actually missed was a small fridge for our drinks. Location is excellent just 5min walk from the train station. Service is good, receptionist is friendly. We are family of 5 so we are given a apartment in the building beside the main reception block. The most disappointing aspect was the amenities in the rooms themselves. There was no dust-bin itself provided in the room. There was no electric kettle and tea/ coffee, this is something every hotel does by default. There was a pungent smell in the hallway leading up to the room. While the rooms have been setup for a quaint old fashioned look, amenities should be modern. Not worth the money.

I had a pleasant stay here in late November 2024. The hotel itself is very quiet - I didn't hear street noise or from other rooms. It was very convenient to walk the train station and bus station, and an easy walk into the Old Town as well. Staff were friendly.
