Arte Hotel Salzburg (solo trip)

The hotel is near the main train station and bus junction, it is perfect for travelling to the old town. Rooms are clean but house keeping can make more of an effort than just change the towels. Otherwise we were happy with the hotel.

We loved this place... beautiful rooms and bars. Our air-conditioner didn't work and the building was full so they couldn't change room for us. So Anna the manager gave us a couple of free breakfasts so that was lovely. Breakfast was great too. good bed and good shower. great location. Nice hotel in a good location and with excellent breakfast. Free drinks in the room refrigerator. Staff were very attentive which is always appreciated. The one thing I must point out is the parking.

Had a 1 night stayed in Salzburg. Excellent location, 2 mins from main station. Lots of shops and restaurants around. Good connection with local transport options. Maria at the reception was very welcoming. Provided useful advise for our 2 day trip. Rooms are small but modern.

Hotel seems nice and modern, but a few warnings. First, they had a fire alarm after 11pm for two nights in a row and we all had to evacuate. Front desk said it was due to guests taking showers too hot and offered nothing but an apology. Second, the plumbing is very loud - you hear air gurgling every time someone uses a toilet or sink or shower. And finally, for those of you who aren’t exhibitonist...
