Sound of Music Pavilion (couple trip)

Stunning, you can’t go in to the pavilion because of health and safety but it’s just wonderful, you can’t then easily walk back along the path 20mins to the building used as the front of the building for the shots

Felt like traveling back to my childhood, never experienced what appeared in motion picture with real life scenery. It's a good and memorable time.

And when the rain with a thunderstorm started the lovely Liesl von Trap, played by Charmian Carr, hided in this small pavilion and sang : I am sixteen going on seventeen, I know that I'm naive. Fellows I meet may tell me I'm sweet,.... Millions and millions of people have seen this scene in the Sound of Music and this is the small pavilion where that scene was filmed. What an awesome tour & very beautiful filming locations! The weather was cool out, but still made for a glorious day & neat experience! A must if you’re in the Salzburg area! 🇦🇹

Fantastic to see it. Red Bull sponsor it however, its a shame they didn't place something a bit more imaginative to the film rather then a football player. I understand there is some big game on but it would be better to keep this to the film, after all, thats why everybody comes to see it.
