Small campsite, lovely view of Salzburg. Showers and toilets very clean Easy bus ride into the city. Homemade strudel for sale as well as fresh baked goods. The check-in was fine and the lady gave us all the information we needed. In some other reviews there is mention of some of the family being a bit rude. We did not find this at all, they are a little qwerky and have their processes that they n...

City camping site with many short stay campers. Although close to the highway, it’s quiet. Easy to go to the city center by bike or by bus. Good & clean sanitary. Price is rather high but that are many city campings nowadays with often poorer services. There is no swimming pool there as a wrong photo of 2018 (difficult to remove) suggests, that’s why I place a new photo:

Conveniently placed for a short walk and bus ride to the centre of Salzburg. The site has modern facilities as well as a bar and a restaurant. Check with reception which evening they are offering the rotisserie chicken. It’s set up for people to visit Salzburg rather than spend time sitting on their pitch. The family who own and run the site are all very helpful and speak excellent English. Beware...

Perfect spot for a short stay and a delicious restaurant!! All food home made. We stayed for one night on our bike vacation. Stones under the tent but that’s ok as this is a short stay camping in my opinion. Delicious home made food in the restaurant and everything was fresh! Showers clean also. Friendly staff. CASH ONLY!

Downside was that the pitches were very close together. Unfortunately we had a rather unpleasant neighbour. She seemed to be upset at us but chose not to clarify anything. Instead she was talking in an aggressive manner all night and called...
The on-site restaurant runs mid-May to early October only. In winter, rely on the shop or bring your own meals. Check local bus schedules in low season as frequency may drop.
