What makes it 57% Couple-Friendly: Registered couples can share chamber concerts and guided walks from the venue to Old-Town dinners, but the building itself lacks romantic spaces or exhibits when no event runs.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for couple trip: Allows time for a chamber concert, guided walk and a quick visit to Mirabell Gardens.
Attend a Chamber Concert:
Enjoy a short classical concert often included in evening programmes for event participants.
Tip: Check your event schedule to see if the concert is complimentary and reserve seats early.
Guided Salzburg Walk:
Follow a certified guide from Salzburg Congress through Mirabell Palace, Old Town and the Fortress.
Tip: Book in advance and bring comfortable shoes; fees are about €10–15 per person.
Use the Salzburg Congress Card:
Gain free entry to Mozart’s Birthplace, the Cathedral quarter, Hohensalzburg Fortress and more.
Tip: Ask at the congress office how many days your card covers and carry it at all times.
Stroll in Mirabell Gardens:
Walk through baroque statues, fountains and lawns just across from the venue.
Tip: Visit early morning to avoid crowds and catch soft light for photos.

I needed to spend a bit of time between two business trips in Salzburg. I am a regular quest of the hotel, which is amazing in all aspects. But today I decided to take a lunch at their restaurant. It was beyond expactation. Service, food and the whole experience is high class and remarkably good price value worth.

Terrible conference food, how is it possible to let noodles with pasta and rice with curry taste like school can't one food? Brings great shame to otherwise very good Austrian Cousine... the bakery is bland, everything tastes like it was made yesterday now two days in a row!

Ok conference center with a big auditorium. Food was average. Comfortable seating.
