Museum der Moderne Monchsberg (solo trip)

Interesting architecture and inspiring exhibitions. Great view from the terrace to the city. The bar/restaurant decoration is also special.

The Modern Museum has two branches. One up on the hill. You can buy combi tickets for the elevator and the museum. The view to the city worth it even if the exhibitions are of mixed quality. The bookshop has great merchandise products.

3 artists nicely displayed in a great building. Lots of places to sit and contemplate along the way. Everything in English and German. A nice looking restaurant with a great terrace and view. Theres a big uphill walk to get here FYI. Anyone reasonably fit wil be fine. I came up through the park and it was just beautiful and fantastic views along the way.

I climbed the steps to land on top of the hill, behind the Museum of Modern Art. The cafe has patio seating. To the side is a viewing platform where folk take city view photos. To the left of that is a trail, walkway that goes down next to the cafe. There's glass doors. This is the entrance towards the reception. Enter and go downstairs.
