Haus der Natur Salzburg (couple trip)

This is a very befuddling natural science museum... And I LOVE it! Along with palaeontological exhibitions on the time of the dinosaurs and the ice age, there are many exhibits about marine life, the human body, human evolution, Austria's wildlife, even entirely fictional creatures! And the special touch is their aquarium and terrarium, which are home to many rare species! I really recommend this ...

We couldn’t finish watching everything. It is a very BIG Museum.. So its better to go there early in the morning & explore the whole museum. 😍😍 its ok to bring dry foods & snacks for when you get hungry, there is a place on 5th or 6th floor (i forgot) where you can eat & relax. & theres a place where u can buy foods & eat there as well, so its ok either way. ❤️

Amazing museum! So many different exhibitions. The main downside is that there is now Air conditioning, thus was hot relatively to the nice weather outside, I assume on hotter days it can be even worse.

Huge museum, very diverse with a lot of interactive experiences and short films. 3 hours were not enough to see all exhibits. No French (only English / German), but a lot of experiments and things to see that doesn’t need to understand the text/speech (including alive animals). Great family experience !

For families with young kids, this spot is an absolute gem. It's incredibly engaging and can easily fill 4 to 5 hours with its vast, multi-story layout. With dedicated buildings for nature and technology, there's so much to discover. We barely scratched the surface during our 3-hour visit, so plan for plenty of time!
