Stage 12 Hotel by Penz (couple trip)

Room was great and service was friendly. Breakfast is expensive but good options. Many of the luggage lockers are broken and do not lock, so hang onto valuables.

Had car trouble driving through Europe and got an unplanned stay in Innsbruck for three nights. Couldn't be luckier with the hotel we ended up in. Very friendly staff who gave us a lot of tips on what to do. The room was super, and the spa area was lovely and not very busy. Nice little gym room too.

The hotel is nice overall and has a lovely location. However, we were extremely frustrated that we paid extra to have a "mountain view" and got a room where you could see the edge of the mountains, the photo here was taken from the corner of the room with my stomach touching the TV, so realistically there was no mountain view. This is a great hotel in a great location. The rooms are clean and modern and the bathroom is spacious (picture included). Room also includes air conditioning, which as an American I find important. The view from the room is of the Alps, which is incredible. Plenty of restaurants and bars near the hotel, but still quiet. The hotel itself also has an excellent bar as well as a sauna and gym.

We arrived by train and was close enough that we decided to walk to the hotel. People with a lot of luggage or small children may feel it’s easier to take a cab. We got checked in quickly and got right to our room. We were surprised at the size of the room.
