Really great bloke at reception - domenick possibly was his name Good room with a really great view to the mountains Awesome breakfast - good enough I’ll stay again Best bit was a lovely 10min walk to old town along the river , great spot.

Very good location, quite central and everything is accessible by foot. The central station is around 20 mins by walk, most tourist attractions are quite close and the station to get on the furnicular towards Hungerburg was like 3 minutes away. I’ve been traveling all around the world for the past 15+ years, and this has to be the worst hotel i’ve ever stayed at. Location is not too central, but there are some buses that stop nearby, so every part of the city is relatively easily accessible. Main station is around 20 minutes by foot. There is also a bike sharing station right at the hotel entrance. The room itself was spacious, relatively well equipped, beds were comfortable. We spent 10 nights at Hotel Congerss. Unfortunately, we don’t have very fond memories of this stay. But let me start with the positives, because there were some.
