Alpenhotel Tirolerhof (couple trip)

Great place to stay for skiing and visiting Innsbruck. Best staff, nice owners and the food ( breakfast and dinner )... exceeded our expectations a lot! Nice spa, perfect for recovering after a good ski day ( although the water in the pool could be warmer, maybe just for the winter time...).

Beautifully clean and comfortable rooms, thoughtful amenities in the rooms (swim towels, bathrobes, slippers). Helpful and friendly staff, even though we arrived with no reservation at a very late hour. All future lodging will be measured against the hospitality of the Alpenhotel... and I fear none will measure up

Our room was modern and well equipped. The breakfast buffet is great and the staff friendly. There is a good indoor pool, steam room and sauna. Highly recommended.

Pros: Clean rooms, which were recently renovated. Has a restaurant with OK food. Cons: No air condition, gets hot in the summer. Some waiters have limited understanding of English. At this point I would have rated them three stars. But: The receptionist declined our late check-out ("we are full, sorry"). Nothing new with that. But at the time we were leaving he "we could have extended your stay ...
