Fabulous museum, highly recommended. An unexpectedly superior museum. The exhibits were fascinating and well displayed. For non-German speakers we were still able to navigate the museum without difficulty. An adjunct to the Court Chapel and the Hofburg, all must-see places to visit in Innsbruck.

Wonderful museum!! It features a museum, a church and a pretty cloister with a fountain and statue. We spent a couple of hours here. Staff were very friendly and helpful, and the paper guide for the church was very thoughtful and informative! Definitely recommend!

Connected to the Church Court, combined ticket available at a lower price. Very nice, with folkloristic objects and scenarios. There was also a great exposition included in the ticket that we truly appreciated.

A nice museum attached to the Hofkirche. We got a combination ticket to see both, and spent about an hour in the museum. The displays were interesting and identification signs were written in German and English. As part of the museum you can get into the top of the Hofkirche to get a unique overhead view of Maximillian’s tomb.

Small museum in the old town of Innsbruck. With exhibits of local crafts. The facilities and staff were excellent. Not crowded a nice break from the city.
In winter, don’t miss the special nativity scene displays; in summer, watch folk-dance demos in the courtyard and let kids play in the nearby Hofgarten.
