(from 1,190 reviews)

Positives:

  • Barrier-free access: The path from Koppeneck to the nature trail is flat and stroller-friendly, also good for photographers with heavy gear.
  • Solo-friendly services: Lockers at the station let you store gear, and many trails are waymarked for self-guided hikes.

Challenges:

  • Weather dependency: High winds or storms can suspend the gondola without warning—check the forecast and operating hours.
  • Limited connectivity: Mobile reception is spotty at the summit; download maps and train schedules beforehand.

It’s was really nice and breathtaking. You can have a round walk around the lake. There is one cafe and one cafe and restaurant close by which can drink, eat and enjoy the nature.

The luge looks amazing but unfortunately few people get to enjoy it as they shut it down as soon as there is any indication of rain, which is very often here. So you pay for several rides on the luge but they scam you out of your money by shutting it down and refusing you your money back. But if you are lucky and the weather stays good it is a beautiful place.

Beautiful spot! Up on the mountain you will find cows hanging out and enjoying the view as well an unique water play park, everything is kept neat and clean. There are three little lakes with a stunning view and a restaurant (which closes at 5pm).
