What makes it 90% Kids-Friendly: Children gain rope-pyramid climbing, swings, sand, maze, ball field, and festival shows; flat paths and benches aid supervision, but paid toilets and limited shade are small drawbacks.
Why 2–3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: Allows time for kids to climb, play in sand, feed ducks and enjoy a picnic without rushing.
Rope‐pyramid climber:
Kids climb the large pyramid net to test balance and strength.
Tip: Make sure children wear closed‐toe shoes for better grip.
Nest‐style swing:
Group swing where kids can rock together.
Tip: Take turns gently pushing from the edge of the lawn nearby.
Labyrinth hunt:
Wander the small maze for a fun mini‐adventure.
Tip: Give each child a simple map or use color‐coded corners as checkpoints.
Sandpit & water play:
Build castles and pour water in the shallow sand area.
Tip: Bring plastic buckets and shovels from home to share among the kids.
Duck feeding:
Feed ducks at the ornamental pond with bird‐safe seeds.
Tip: Buy a small bag of feed (€2) and supervise children at all times.
Lawn picnic:
Spread a blanket under shade for snacks and rest.
Tip: Pack easy‐to‐serve sandwiches and bottled water.

It's simple and very beautiful, it's close to the center, so there are a lot of nice people there, a lot of animals, and overall, it's a stunning park.

Nice place and kids enjoyed a lot. Open air gym is also available. There are many playgrounds and you can relax near to river Sill. We were lucky to see the gate opening of the reservoir.

I remembered the park from way back when, the late 1980s and early 1990s actually, when it was still a place considered to be bad neighborhood. They fixed the park up nicely and installed all the amenities and even a calisthenics section, for adults to workout there. My kids absolutely love the place and request to go back a lot…

Such a beautiful park in Pradl! Some special events happen there from time to time. For example, there was Maifest on 1st May and Krapoldifest in August. I strongly suggest to you take a stroll there. It’s definitely worth going 🌱🌿☘️🍀🌲🌳
Late August hosts the KRAPOLDI street festival with free family acts. In summer, water play stays open—bring extra clothes. In winter, playground surfaces may be icy; dress warmly.
