What makes it 63% Baby-Friendly: Step-free access, stroller-friendly cabins and barrier-free toilets aid parents, but no listed nursing room or changing tables and cold, changeable alpine weather limit comfort for infants.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Enough time for the gondola ride, a stroller-friendly quiz tour and a coffee break without rushing.
Panorama Gondola Ride:
Take the cable car from the valley station to the mountain station.
Tip: Board early to get space for your stroller and enjoy clear valley views.
Kofele’s Quiz Hiking Tour:
Collect stamps at 10 waypoints along a mostly stroller-friendly trail.
Tip: Ask at the ticket desk to bypass the magic water section with your carriage.
Coffee & Rest at Das Hausberg:
Enjoy Tyrolean coffee or light snacks on the terrace next to the valley station.
Tip: Reserve a table indoors if you need a quiet corner to feed or nap the baby.
Barrier-free Facilities:
Use the valley-station toilets and entrances designed for strollers.
Tip: The WC has wide doorways but no changing table—bring a portable pad.

Beautiful views and it takes you to the Zirbenweg that runs between this cable car station and Glungezerbahn. The station runs until 11 pm on Thursdays, which lets you catch the beautiful sunset here!

The mountains and meadows are lush green and full of flowers. There's even a couple of restaurants up top if you want a bite or drink, though many people just brought their own picnic. On Thursday the lift is open til 11p. So a perfect pl...

It was cloudy so the view was a little blocked. But it was still a nice cable car trip, though rather quiet. Very few people.

Great place to eat and drink after a long hike. Not accessible by cable car. Food was good, just simple dishes, different simple drinks, soft drink , wine and prosecco. Amazing views and the fire place makes this such a cozy stop to relax.

Perfect mountain for beginners to intermediates ! it has a stunning blue run to the gondola ride to go back up top, as well as an amazing red run (that I took by accident on my second day) with amazing views ! There's 2 nice restaurants with a beautiful panoramic view of the other mountains near Innsbruck. It also has a snow park so perfect for us how snowboarders !
In summer bring a sunshade and light blanket for the stroller. In winter dress baby in layers and cover the carriage against wind.
