Such a beautiful place! We didnt ski, instead we hiked to Kaltwassersee from this station. There is a trail on the left from funicular that takes u up through the forest. Some sections were through the ski slope. It took us 1hr 40 min uphill and 1hr 10min down. Hiking is free. We only paid 10 eur for parking for whole day. It was sunny and the sky is clear! And loads of snow - every brunch of the...

Just perfect! We are scared of cable cars hanging in the air, so this little train was just perfect. Feels very safe, beautiful and not too short. We went to the middle station and it was so beautiful. Restaurant was expensive, but fine, you enjoy it so much with the view. Very recommended!

This cable car was not in my plans, so probably that’s why I had so good surprise. Let’s go to the main points: - parking area: large parking area, no problem with that. Accessible from Seefeld downtown, 15 min walk. - cable cars: if you pay the full price (€37) you have right to take 2 different cable cars from the intermediate point. I wont write the names in German because they are too compli...

A cable train connecting Seefeld to Rosshütte. Open from 9am to 5pm , departure time is every 15 minutes. Took 10 minutes to the top, it was a nice ride, with space for sitting or standing inside . Ticket costs 27€ + 4€ deposit = 31€ for up and down ride ( save your ticket you will need it when you go back to the base station, you will get your 4€ back if you return the ticket )

When is the best time to visit Bergbahnen Rosshütte (Innsbruck, Austria)?

In summer the pram path to Hochegg-Alm is clear and stroller-friendly. In winter that trail may be covered in snow—use a baby carrier from the middle station and check lift opening times.
