Ibis Styles Sydney Central (solo trip)

It was wet and wild outside, but warm and friendly (with a bottle of sake) inside during the recent 'bomb cyclone'...Hyde Park, Berkelouw Books on Oxford St, Circular Quay, The Rocks, Chinatown, numerous pubs and cafes all within walking distance even in the rain! Location of this hotel is good, one block away from Museum Station, and within walking distances to nany attractions. Room service is pretty lag though. Sometimes shirt of towels is floor mat. There is no amenities in the room like laundry bag. They will provide only if you ask. Otherwise it is value for money.

As the title says the location was great. Good access to services and cafe up the road was great. Rooms are a good size, the shower and bathroom was clean and didn't leak. Bed had 2 different types of pillows for use and was comfy. Self check-in kiosk room cards did not work but was fixed by hotel staff after we brought up issue hassle free.

The bar downstairs had great happy hour prices and the food selection looked amazing and delicious even though I didn’t get a chance to eat there. Close to the train from the airport so it was quick and easy getting there without getting stuck in the infamous Sydney traffic. Close to all the public transport to be able to easily access the amazing Circular Quay and the Rocks.

We stayed here for 4 nights and had a pleasant experience overall. The location is very convenient which is just a short walk from Museum train station. It’s also close to plenty of restaurants and stores. The room was well-equipped with a mini fridge, electric kettle, plates, cutlery, and even an iron and ironing board, which I really appreciated.
