Conveniently located being close to a suburban railway station (Kings Cross), room was comfortable although window didn't seem to secure properly as got some traffic noise even with window closed. A bonus was we had a great view over the Harbour and the Bridge. Staff were very obliging as wanted to have breakfast early on a couple of days and it was no problem. Shower was a fixed head affair which...

Ibis Budget East is exactly as it's name describes - a budget hotel. The rooms must have been recently painted as the smell of paint was very strong but we weren't able to open the window as it had been sealed shut. The bathrooms are very small and when you shower water literally goes all over the floor as the shower is open. The beds however are really comfy and the staff were lovely. Once the be...

The front desk staff were super friendly, they even let us check in early at 9 AM. The view from the window was amazing! We could see the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. The room wasn’t too small and was always kept clean. Unfortunately, the AC in our room didn’t work, so sometimes it felt a bit too cold inside. Also, there wasn’t a proper closet, just some hangers. But overall, it’s a decent plac...

We spent a couple of nights at Ibis East Sydney. The reception staff were friendly, and check-in was straightforward. The location was convenient—about a 10-minute drive from the city centre. The room felt a bit cramped for two people, and for the price, you could likely find better options. Parking cost $30 per night. Unfortunately, the laundry room was out of order during our stay. On a positive...

It's clear that the staff of the hotel really care about the guest experience. Morning breakfast is phenomenal, as well as the accompanying lobby space. The rooms and beds were alright, the bathroom was a touch small. However, I'd say this is above and beyond for a budget hotel. 8/10 would stay again
