Hyde Park Inn (with kids)

Great location , they offer free parking though you might be able to park just a small car. The rooms were ok but did not look very clean. It says breakfast included but it was some hard pieces of toast wrapped in ceramic paper , some hospital juice and kids fruit. Really unappealing. No shampoo or conditioner on the shower. The blankets had a smell on it . Most likely I would not go back.

The positives: great location, affordable for a family of five, family room is a good size, we got an early check in, reception helpful in booking a taxi. The not so positives: breakfast is a box of bread, spreads, cereal and milk - sufficient but super basic. Body wash was empty. Noise carries super easily, upstairs sounded like they were running laps and playing the drums at 11pm, impossible to ...

Rooms were clean and fully equipped kitchen. Perfect for a weekend stay, accommodating 5 people in one room. Central location, quick drive or walk to Darling Harbour. Bar fridge well stocked with goodies too. Only downfall was that I was advised Netflix would be available but we couldn't connect and staff were unable to help. Had a great stay!

What a great find the Hyde Park Inn was at the last minute, booked a two bedroom apartment which was a great size for a family. The staff were more than helpful and nothing was to much trouble. The only down side was that on site parking is limited but with the convenience of covered car parking only 3 block's away and the cost of the parking included in the accommodation price it was a great deal...

I am so grateful for this lovely hotel and it’s beautiful location. Free parking, central location, nice kitchenette and bathroom, value for money and conveniences just down stairs like the 7/11. I don’t think you could beat it for a city stay. Special thanks to the cleaning staff who cleaned the breakfast dishes we left each day. We really appreciated this luxury!
