The Commercial Hotel Nambour (couple trip)

We had a great time on the sunshine coast using the commercial hotel Nambour as my base. The room was spacious and clean and freshly renovated with a new TV connected to Sky racing. The meals were very good and the dinning area was family friendly. My Thai wife was very pleased with the accommodation and plans to bring her parents over next year for a visit.

The staff and local people have improved the pub is such short term, I’m a local from Coolum beach since the 90s and have seen a huge change in the hotel in last 6 months. I have witnessed the positive change within the commercial pub due to staff and management providing a safe environment to Nambour Locals and tradies.

Room was neat and tidy. larger than expected. Ordered the Bangers and mash. Menu said thick sausages and onion gravy. Failed on both counts. Maggi gravy nice and thick but forgot the onion and the sausages were thin overcooked and so dry. More attention to details needed. At least Mecca's across the road delivers what they promise. The cab merlot was lovely.

Service was great the meal was very poor quality. Ordered the rump steak which my partner also ordered paid just under $30 each. Wated half an hour which we didn't mind. The meal came with chips which was a healthy serving a salad which to be honest was very basic with no imagination and a steak which was no more than 3x3 inches( apparently 200grams ) that was burnt around the edges.
