Currimundi Hotel Motel (couple trip)

Bit hard to give a glowing review here. Power went out at the hotel and bar just after 6pm on Saturday night and was off the whole night. Completely ruined our experience because we couldn’t get dinner, the rooms were in blackness and no aircon. A great little spot, no issues during our stay. Even during an unexpected blackout, management were top notch, kept us informed and made sure we were looked after. Very kind and friendly staff, definitely recommend if you love the beach as it's across the road, down a scenic walk.

This review is just for the restaurant at the hotel. We came for the first time because the menu looked good and they have an awesome outside playground for kids. Service was ok, couldn't order on the app to get the free kids meal that's on offer so just had to wait a little to order in person at the bar. Really enjoyed the food and portions.

I did not stay but did use the pub for food. The best thing about this for us was the park contained in the garden which is great for kids. The food is acceptable, general pub classics which are tasty without being spectacular. Priced accordingly and is reasonable. Service good.

The last 3 Friday nights have come to The Hotel for dinner. One person is serving at the counter on each of our visits. Line up was long. Used the app to order drinks but was told had two pages of orders and will get to ours. More staff required in the dining/bar area. Would get a 5 star rating if this was done.
