Blue Summit Cottages (couple trip)

We are frequent flyers to the Blue Summit Cottages, they have become our favourite way to unwind and decompress from our busy lives. We just had our second stay at Blue Summit Cottages and it was even more magical than the first. We came back to celebrate my partner’s 40th, and the owners, Steve and Aliana, went above and beyond with a thoughtful surprise that meant the world to us. We had a delightful stay in the Kookaburra Cottage - a quiet, peaceful location just a ten minute drive out of Maleny. The cottage was spotlessly clean with a wonderfully comfortable bed and a fluffy warm doona. The hosts were welcoming and friendly. We really enjoyed our visit to this beautiful part of the hinterland.

Brilliant location. Just far enough out of town to be quiet but a short drive in. Cute little cafe “The Nest ” nearby (closes at 1pm). Cottage has everything you need and more. Breakfast hamper was lovely and sitting out on the deck in the afternoon was a delight. Thanks to the Blue Summit team for a lovely tranquil and impeccably clean cottage. We will be back.

Gorgeous! We stayed in the Kingfisher cottage and were really pleased with our stay. The spa bath was lovely and the bed was so comfy we could have been sleeping on a cloud. The cottages are thoughtfully layed out and there is an array of birdlife around to see and hear. Another big bonus for us was the full kitchen which allowed us to cook dinner in and enjoy the serenity. Thank you Steve and Ali...
