What makes it 91% Baby-Friendly: Pram-friendly ramps, a nursing room with microwave and multiple change tables ease care; calm tanks suit babies, yet loud seal show and weekend crowds could briefly unsettle very young visitors.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: This gives enough time to explore key exhibits at a relaxed pace with breaks for your baby.
Ocean Tunnel:
Walk through an 80 m underwater tunnel surrounded by sharks, rays and reef fish.
Tip: Carry your baby facing the glass to let them watch fish at eye level.
Little Blue Penguins zone:
View Australia’s only Little Blue Penguins from above and through an underwater window.
Tip: Visit mid-morning when penguins are most active and the area is quieter.
Seal Presentation:
Watch a 15-minute seal show with viewing seats and buggy parking.
Tip: Arrive 5 minutes early to secure a seat near the front and park your pram beside the stadium.
Jellyfish Kingdom:
See glowing jellyfish drift in softly lit tanks.
Tip: Sit in the dim gallery to soothe your baby with gentle movements and lights.

Had a really great time. Loved the underwater tunnel experience. Were really enjoying the behind-the-scenes experience until asked if we wanted to see the seal show which they'd reserved seats for us. We said yes and after it we were told we were done. Lovely place to take the whole family. Touch & feel pond. Penguins, seals, sealife. Plenty of kids friendly activities and play spaces. Buy cheaper tickets online a few days before you visit. Pram & wheelchair friendly. Plenty of places to eat nearby

They raise money for conservation work and research and rescue of injured and sick wildlife like turtles and sea lions/seals. It's usually fairly quiet on a weekday during school times, it gets pretty packed on a weekend or holiday times but even with a crowd it's still lots of fun, I like to walk th...

Such a fun experience! The exhibits are well-maintained and the staff are friendly and knowledgeable. Loved getting up close with the sea creatures—especially the sharks and rays! Great place for families or anyone interested in marine life.

Great spot for families. They have a seal show too. the seals are super cute and smart! The only downside is that the aquarium’s pretty small, so I didn’t feel totally satisfied. Should go early a little bit, extremely difficult to find a parking spot :((
During summer, use the aquarium’s air-conditioned galleries to cool down. In school holidays, arrive early to avoid queues at popular exhibits.
