What makes it 71% Baby-Friendly: Stroller-friendly foreshore paths and calm Cotton Tree shallows help with prams, but the beach lacks on-site nursing rooms; parents must walk to Sunshine Plaza or surf club toilets for changing.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: 2-3 hours allows time for a stroller walk, calm paddling, and a picnic without rushing your baby.
Pram-friendly Coastal Pathway walk:
Stroll the wide, smooth path between Cotton Tree and Maroochydore Beach.
Tip: Start early to avoid crowds and heat. The path is paved and partly shaded.
Calm water paddling at Cotton Tree:
Let your baby paddle at the shallow river mouth under close supervision.
Tip: Bring a small towel. Stay in ankle-deep water for safety.
Picnic at Pierce Park:
Use free tables and grassed areas under trees next to a small playground.
Tip: Arrive before noon for the best shaded spot. Pack easy-to-eat snacks.
Surf Club facilities:
Access pram-friendly toilets, baby-change areas, and an indoor café.
Tip: Call ahead to confirm baby-change availability. Enjoy a coffee indoors.

Holiday destination must! Check out everyone photos, it's exactly the same in real life. Really friendly locals. Nice to see a place that depicts our national anthem, haven't seen many places like this in current years.

Lovely beach, found a cute little crab and called him Jerry! Definitely recommend.

What a beautiful beach here. Well maintained. Walking along the beach to Mooloolaba was a nice walk. Wheelchair and pram friendly path, some of the entry points to the beach aren't. There are shops close by as well. Highly recommend going to have a look. Great place for the whole family. Good spot to sit and watch the boats go by or surfers. There is a playground close by as well.🙂🙂

Beautiful stunning beach! Lots of space and gorgeous views 😍😍😍
In summer (Dec–Feb), bring UV-protective clothing and use shade. In winter (Jun–Aug), mornings are calm and fewer crowds; pack a light jacket.
