What makes it 75% Baby-Friendly: Babies have pram-friendly paths, shaded grass and change benches, but no private nursing room, no stroller hire and unfenced water require parents to bring gear and stay alert at all times.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows time for a shaded picnic, a lakeside stroll with the pram, and naps or play on the grass without rushing.
Shaded Picnic on the Grassy Banks:
Spread a blanket under large paperbark trees for tummy-time or bottle feeds.
Tip: Bring a portable change mat and insect repellent; scout for a spot close to the water view.
Pram-Friendly Lake Path Stroll:
Follow smooth concrete paths around Currimundi Lake.
Tip: Use the loop closest to the playground for a shorter walk; pack water for refreshment stops.
Use Picnic Tables & BBQ Stations:
Fixed tables and barbecues sit under shade near the lake edge.
Tip: Arrive early to claim a table near the toilets; bring simple pre-prepped snacks.
Visit Public Toilets with Change Benches:
Built-in benches in the unisex toilets support nappy changes.
Tip: Carry a portable privacy screen if you need more cover; pack hand sanitizer.
Soothing Water & Wildlife Views:
Sit at the lake edge to watch gentle ripples and local birds.
Tip: Time your visit near dawn or dusk when bird activity calms a fussy baby.

Quiet park by the lake. restrooms, playground, BBQs, plenty of parking, shady, lots of seating, exercise equipment and access to the lake for swimming. Whilst having a picnic here we spotted some eastern water dragons in the sheoaks near the lake edge.

Reasonable variety of older playground equipment for children who are confident on their feet. A fitness area too. Good tables under shelter to sit at. Plenty of mature trees for shade. Great waterway view and walking path. Good parking. Convenient m/f toilets.

Nice park set against Currimundi Lake. Has walking path, picnic and playground facilities with grassy spots and small wood platform with stairs to access the water. Lots of shady areas and trees which is great for summer. Has good parking available but maybe busy on the weekends. Good spot for fishing, and non motor water sports.

This kind of landscape feels timeless—a reminder of nature’s grandeur and tranquility. Whether under a golden sunrise or the soft glow of twilight, such a view is pure magic.

Some lovely walking paths, a small children's playground, and viewing docks of the river. Plenty of shade from the trees, and several bike pathways near the conservation park entrance. A few docking areas for the river, and ample parking off the adjacent roads.
First Sunday in December hosts the free “Lights on the Lake” festival (4–8 pm) with kids’ crafts and a lit-kayak parade. Summer mornings (Dec–Feb) are best before temperatures rise.
