What makes it 66% Baby-Friendly: Parents with a baby can wheel a stroller through single-level galleries and use the accessible toilet, but there is no listed nursing room and change table is only in the library next door; check with staff for feeding privacy.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Allows time to explore key exhibits at a relaxed pace before baby needs a break.
Stroll current exhibitions:
Enjoy rotating displays of local and national art at your own pace.
Tip: Keep your baby in the stroller and stop at benches for rests.
Use pram-friendly layout:
Navigate the gallery easily via wide, level doorways.
Tip: Enter through the main door to avoid steps and tight corners.
Visit Caloundra Library:
Access baby-change facilities next door on any floor.
Tip: Combine gallery visit with a library storytime break.

A lovely fresh space with a small but colourful gift shop filled with beautiful pieces from Sunshine Coast artists. The Wildflowering by Design exhibition was well curated & the staff are so helpful too. A great spot to visit, soak up some creativity & enjoy a few minutes in the garden setting out front.

This place has a new exhibit nearly every month, and I enjoyed it so much over the last few years that I joined Friends Regional Gallery Caloundra, they have great events, invitations to launches, etc. This gallery is the best on the coast by far and it’s free, can’t beat that. Volunteers are so friendly too, you always get a nice chat and a smile 😊

Had a great time today visiting Rex Bachaus-Smith's art exhibition at the Caloundra Regional gallery. I am a bit biased I know being the grandson of the artist but it was phenomenal to see all of my pop's artwork over the last 60 years on display for everyone to enjoy and appreciate. Thank you Caloundra Regional Gallery for organising such a great event!
Weekdays in the morning are quieter. Check gallery hours during school holidays for special family sessions.
