What makes it 66% Baby-Friendly: Babies travel free and prams roll down the jetty ramp, but the boat lacks a change table or quiet nursing corner and cruises over an hour long demand carers carry mats, nappies and soothe noise themselves.
Why 1-2 hours visit duration is ideal for with baby: Cruise length suits a baby’s schedule and shows key sights without over-tiring.
Classic Caloundra Cruise:
1h20min smooth-water cruise on a 1930s-style double-deck boat.
Tip: Book the 10:30am slot when waters are calm and bring a baby carrier for the deck.
Sunset Cruise:
1h30min evening cruise with 360° views and BYO drinks.
Tip: Bring a sun-hat and snacks, and choose outdoor upper deck for better air flow.
Pelican Waters Tavern Play Area:
Shaded pirate-ship playground and indoor kids’ room at the jetty.
Tip: Arrive 15min before boarding to use the parents room ashore and let baby play.

Thoroughly enjoyed our early Xmas event on Caloundra Cruise. We motored up and down the passage and it was a brilliant ice breaker for having dinner at the pub afterwards. They even supplied real glass wear to use and the facilities were clean and spacious. Really loved the upstairs view of Caloundra as the sunset. Thanks guys. Definitely recommend. 😁

We had a fabulous time on the Classic Cruise which was for a hour and a half. Ken was our skipper for this cruise and he has a wealth of information about Pumicestone Passage and the area, from World War 2 history of Moreton Bay and Bribie Island, to the different bird species that migrate and nest in the area.

This was so amazing …I booked this for my husband’s birthday to view an amazing sunset. The staff were friendly. We went near to Christmas and he showed us all the beautiful houses decorated.

Absolutely wonderful experience! Ken was so lovely and extremely accommodating with our family, our 2 young boys (4yr and 7yr old) loved chatting with him about the boat, sailing and the water as we travelled along. Finding the best spots to view the sunset, and ensuring smooth sailing the whole way. Very comfortable ride with great playlist! Have already recommended to everyone 👌 Thank you for a...
In summer, choose early morning cruises to avoid midday heat. Between June–November, scan horizons for migrating whales.
