What makes it 83% Solo-Friendly: The one-hour amphibious cruise delivers lively commentary and broad coastal views in a hassle-free group setting, yet lack of toilets and food service limits comfort for some solo explorers.
Why 1–2 hours visit duration is ideal for solo trip: The 1-hour tour plus boarding and disembarking fits in 1–2 hours, leaving time for photos and travel.
Land-to-Water Transition:
Watch as the Duck drives down the street then splashes into the Mooloolah River.
Tip: Sit near a window on the right for best splash views and photo angles.
Live English Commentary:
Hear fun facts about Mooloolaba Beach, luxury yachts and canal-front mansions.
Tip: Lean forward when you hear “quack” to catch each landmark story.
Photo Stops:
Capture shots of the Gold Coast Bridge, Sea World and beachfront hotels.
Tip: Bring a small tripod or use a phone grip for stable water shots.

My family came to visit from interstate and it was our first time on the Aquaduck in the Sunny Coast. This was so much fun with quirky Charlotte as our host on board, as well as the lovely Captain Paul who guided each child to steer the boat. We all had a great time in the water and learning about he beautiful houses and history of the area along the way. It was also a cracking afternoon 👌🏽 oh, ...

Dave and the Captain gave us our best first aquaduck experience. They told us alot about the mooloolaba area and history and even quacked plenty of jokes 😃. They also spoke about the wildlife and were very friendly and easy to talk to, and they even had a nice surprise for the kids great job. Happy to support local business. I will Recommend to everyone

Another fantastic adventure. Have been on the Aquaduck a few times on the Gold Coast but first time on the Sunshine Coast as always so much to see and even if you have been before theres still more to see and learn about. The tours are always very informative and the crew always make it fun. The kids loved being able to steer the boat, the joys of being a child. But look them up take a tide enjoy.

Was a great experience. Being around them so much, never actually been in one. But they gave us a good deal and even let my 4yo drive it in the water. Was cool cause they let a few people drive. Tour was great through town first then headed up the river and then down to the mouth and back. Would recommend!
In summer, choose an early slot to avoid midday heat and strong UV. Winter tours enjoy calmer water but pack a light jacket against the breeze.
