What makes it 72% Baby-Friendly: Flat picnic lawns, stroller-friendly paths and several change rooms make a relaxed outing, but long drives between stops and limited shaded nursing zones can tire carers and infants.
Why 1 day visit duration is ideal for with baby: Enough time to visit key family-friendly spots without rushing and fit in naps and feedings.
Swan Valley Station Playground & Sculpture Trail:
Fenced playground next to farm animals and a gentle sculpture walk on a flat path.
Tip: Bring snacks and let your baby explore the soft grass; paths fit most strollers.
Gomboc Sculpture Park:
Wide gravel trails weaving between large outdoor sculptures in open bushland.
Tip: Time your visit for morning light and avoid loose sand; a sturdy stroller works best.
Margaret River Chocolate Company:
Free entry chocolate factory with wide aisles and complimentary samples.
Tip: Grab a bench near the tasting counter for quick breaks and stroller parking.

Always fun to visit Sean valley. The views are breathtaking and never had a traffic issue. Plenty of activities available for adults and kids throughout the valley.

Amazing! The Swan Valley is only about a 30-minute drive away from Perth city. And yet when you're here it is like you're very far away from the hustle and bustle. Many wineries, estates, factories (of the chocolate variety!) and restaurants to experience. Go on a wine tour! Excellent!

We enjoyed a Swan River cruise with wine tasting that was fun with friendly knowledgeable staff, who shared stories about the historic wine region. Then we discovered boutique wineries and sample fine wines and cheeses. The river cruise / wineries visit was a highlight of our visit to Perth.
