What makes it 71% Kids-Friendly: Large outdoor sandpit, kids’ menu and highchairs make meals easy, but tanks, crowds and alcohol focus mean supervision is constant and evenings get too noisy for under-12s.
Why 2-3 hours visit duration is ideal for with kids: A few hours lets kids play and adults sample drinks without rushing.
Kids’ Sandpit & Play Area:
Let children dig and play with trucks in the enclosed sandpit at the beer garden.
Tip: Bring a change of clothes and supervise younger kids near the tables.
Family Meal in Outdoor Beer Garden:
Grab a shaded table under the trees or sit indoors on lounge benches.
Tip: Arrive before 12:30 pm or after 1:30 pm to snag a family-friendly spot.
Kids’ Menu Sampling:
Order simple pizzas or pastas and fresh juices from the children’s menu.
Tip: Ask staff for activity sheets to keep kids engaged while waiting.
Free Bike Hire:
Pick up complimentary bikes next door for a short ride around Fremantle.
Tip: Bring helmets and check with staff on bike sizes for older kids.

I visited both Little Creatures Brewery, Fremantle and Gage Roads Freo Brewery. Came here with my sister. It was super busy. Lots of people but we managed to snag a table upstairs. We didn't tour the brewery only stopped for a glass of vino as Little Creatures was recommended to us. Did not disappoint. Recommended

We visited quite a few breweries around Western Australia and our favourite is the Hazy Lager from Little Creatures. The atmosphere is relaxing. Besides the beers, we also enjoyed the mussels. The portion is decent for two and the taste is amazing.

Beautiful seaside microbrewery perfect for family & kids! Wonderful service by Ciro the pizza chef whom gave my little one some pizza dough to play with! Great pizza and beers! Awesome experience and if you are lucky, you can spot some dolphins swimming around in the sea too!

Online reservation for the brewery tour was a breeze! Straightforward and hassle free. Advisable to reach 15 minutes earlier. Daily tour is 11.30am and 3pm. Our guide was the staff named Hiru, amazing and friendly lady! Super detailed on the history and processing of all the different kinds of beer available. Tour includes 10 different types of their beer. 10/10 would recommend!
In summer, sit early for shade and bring sunscreen. In winter, use indoor lounges to stay warm.
