What makes it 75% Baby-Friendly: Pram-friendly paths, shaded benches, and a free family bathroom with change table suit babies, but no private nursing room or onsite stroller hire lowers convenience on hot or busy days.
Why 1 hour visit duration is ideal for with baby: A one-hour visit covers a stroller-friendly walk, quick playground stop, and baby-change break without rushing.
Riverside stroller walk:
Follow the flat, sealed path along the Swan River for easy pram access and city views.
Tip: Start at the pavilion end and head toward the CBD for smoother pavement.
Pavilion picnic break:
Use the shaded seating under the pavilion and nearby baby-change rooms for a stress-free snack.
Tip: Choose benches next to the baby-change facility for quick diaper changes between feeds.
Bench rests & duck watching:
Rest on riverside benches and spot black swans and ducks gliding by.
Tip: Bring bird-friendly snacks like oats to feed birds from a safe distance.

I was there for an October fest and it was a fantastic event, with 4 different stages, music venues throughout the grounds, fantastic food stalls and great beer tents supplying all the patrons the needed beverages to hydrate at such an event. Fantastic day and evening good music cold beer, and great friends.😜

Nice park to go for a walk or to attend an event.

The events that take place through the year here is absolutely fantastic. Last weekend I attended the Tarmac Rally event. The place was buzzing, the atmosphere was electric. Well done Perth. 👏

Nice place for a relaxing stroll. You’ll get to observe different types of wildlife - from birds, fish, jellyfish - at different times of day, which makes for an interesting walk. If you’re walking towards the direction of the CBD in the evening, the sunset against the backdrop of the city is just beautiful.

Australia day 2025 at Langley park ✅ was a solid decision to make. Awesome day out, the food we had was really good and that goes for the drinks we had as well. I was impressed by the drone show and the fireworks. I've been to this park before for Anzac day it doesn't disappoint being a host to events.
In summer, pack extra water and use pavilion shade. On Australia Day (Jan 26), arrive early to secure a riverside spot before crowds. In winter, dress in layers for cool river breezes.
